Friendship Farms is a diverse operation which offers job opportunities in a range of specialties. These include: delivery driver, bread and pastry baker, farm market merchandiser, orchard and nursery crop specialist, livestock and pasture husbandry, general maintenance, mechanical and landscape care, and sales. Depending upon the interests, skills, and availability of the employee, positions sometimes overlap. A delivery driver, for example, might do farm work after completing his/her route; a bread baker might work a farm market stand on the weekend. Seasonal opportunities exist, especially during the summertime when crop production and the farm markets are most active. Friendship Farms seeks employees with a hands-on interest in their work, who are creative and care about quality. Most of all, they should enjoy, and value working in a family-farm setting, where everything produced is real, homemade and natural.
